Ablit Terms of Use

1. What Ablit is

Ablit is software that runs on your computer and connects to AI model providers that you choose, using your own API keys, or to Ablit's own models if you buy access (section 5). It can read and write files, run commands and use the web on your behalf, within the permissions you set. Ablit has no accounts.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of your parent or legal guardian, and be able to enter into this agreement. Ablit is not for children under 13. You may not buy Ablit models from a country or while on a list under comprehensive sanctions (for example by the UN, US, EU or UK). Ablit models are sold only in the countries the app shows as open (for now the United States, Canada (not Quebec), New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Switzerland, Norway and South Africa (and India, South Korea and Turkey once Ablit is registered for their tax), and the EU and the UK once Ablit is registered for their VAT). They are not sold in Brazil.

5. The software and Ablit models

The app is provided free of charge, "as is". Features may change between versions. Ablit is closed-source, proprietary software: you may install and use the official releases, but not copy, resell, redistribute, modify, decompile or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this anyway. All rights reserved.

Ablit models (optional). You can buy a monthly plan or a pay-as-you-go refill inside the app. You pay on Ablit's payment page with US dollar stablecoins (USDC on the Base network) from any crypto wallet or exchange account, sent to an address made only for your purchase, or with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a bank through thirdweb, whose partners (Stripe, Coinbase, Transak) turn your payment into USDC for Ablit. We never receive your card or bank details. A crypto price includes a small network fee (US$ 0.05) for moving the payment; whatever it does not use is added to your credit. If you send too little, send the rest to the same address; after one day, whatever arrived becomes credit anyway (minus Ablit's usual share). If you send too much, the extra becomes credit with nothing taken. - Activation and timing. Your purchase is active as soon as your payment reaches Ablit: about 10 seconds for crypto, up to a minute for exchanges, and a few minutes for cards and banks (the first time, the payment company may check your identity). The payment page shows how long each method takes. If a payment never arrives or the payment page expires, nothing is charged and nothing is added. - All sales are final: no refunds for change of mind; your rights under consumer law are not affected. Ablit models are sold only where the law lets a digital purchase that starts right away be final, and Ablit does not sell them in Brazil. By ticking the box before paying you ask for your purchase to start right away and you accept that you then lose any right to cancel or withdraw (in the EU and UK this is the consent and acknowledgement the law requires). Ablit gives no change-of-mind refunds; nothing here limits your rights under consumer law. A paid purchase that is slow to turn on (for example while the model provider is down) stays "Activating" and keeps trying by itself until it is active. A chargeback or reversed payment freezes the license; this does not limit any right your bank or the law gives you that cannot be waived. - Prices and taxes. Prices are in US dollars; amounts in reais, euros or pounds are approximate. In the EU and the UK, and in any other country where the seller is registered for its sales tax (VAT or GST), that tax is added on top and shown before you pay. Card and local on-ramps add their own fee, shown before you pay. Ablit stops selling in a country before its sales would require a tax registration the seller does not have. - Every purchase lasts 30 days from when it becomes active, plans and refills alike, and works on every Ablit model. Its use is spread evenly over the calendar months it touches (usually half in each of two; a third each when bought in the last days of January), and the Pro plan can use up to 35% of it in one week. Usage left when a purchase ends is not carried over or refunded. Ablit asks you before each plan renewal; nothing renews silently. Each card shows this before you buy. - Refills ($5, $10, $20, $50, $100 or $200, also shown in euros and pounds) give a fixed amount of model use, in US dollars, for 30 days. If less arrives than the price (for example an on-ramp fee taken from the amount), you get model use for what arrived. Models cost different amounts per token, so the same credit lasts longer on cheaper models. - Your purchase is tied to a license stored on your computer, encrypted with your PIN. It changes every month and with each purchase. If you lose it (new computer, forgotten PIN, wiped data, or someone copied it), recover it in the app with the recovery code Ablit shows after your first purchase. Keep that code safe: it is the only way back. - Models are run by third-party providers and may change, slow down or become unavailable. Usage is measured in US dollars of model cost. - Sexual content is not allowed with any model, and neither is any sort of action that can cause damage in any sort or form for masses (for example weapons, attacks on infrastructure, malware that spreads, mass fraud or mass surveillance).

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost profits arising from the use of Ablit, including actions you approved. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law (including the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code, Law 8.078/1990) that cannot be waived.

7. Ending

You can stop using Ablit at any time, delete its data from Customize > Data and uninstall it.

8. Changes

If we change these terms, the app shows the new version and asks you to accept it before you continue.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. If you are a consumer, you may bring claims in the courts of your own domicile, and you keep the protections of the consumer law of the country where you live.

AI and your safety. You are always talking to an AI model, not a person. Models can be wrong. If you ever think about hurting yourself, Ablit shows where to get help right away, and every model is told to answer with care and point you to a crisis line (call or text 988 in the US and Canada, or findahelpline.com elsewhere).
